Winner of the BBC/Stewart Parker Trust Award for Best First Play, 1998, Pat Kinevane’s debut stageplay tells the story of Picus, Bellona, Jaso and Silvy, four young people living on the fictional island village of Tinaglasha, County Cork. Rhea Normile, visiting the grave of her long deceased friend, recounts the tragic events that transpired during a hot summer in 1974.

A story about families, the ones you’re born with and the ones you choose, legacy, and the burden and unyielding impact of dark secrets.
